How the card works
After booking, you'll receive the card as a QR code by email. Show it at the museum ticket desk, either on your phone or printed out, and you'll get free entry there. Validity only starts once you scan in at the first museum, then runs for 24, 48, 72 or 120 consecutive hours, depending on the validity period you chose. The one-day version includes up to three free admissions, and each museum can be visited once per card.
What's included, what isn't
Free entry covers around 80 museums, monuments, castles and Savoy residences in Turin and across Piedmont, plus discounted entry at many more venues. The Museo Egizio, the cinema museum inside the Mole Antonelliana and the Palazzo Reale are all included. Public transport is not included - the card is a culture pass only. You get a discount on the panoramic lift inside the Mole and on the Sassi-Superga rack railway, and the Venaria Express to the Reggia runs at a reduced fare on weekends and public holidays.
Getting there and the best time to visit
Turin's centre, with the Egizio, the Mole and the Palazzo Reale, is easy to explore on foot, as the sights sit close together. For the Reggia di Venaria just outside the city, allow extra time and take the bus or train. For the most popular sights - especially the Egizio and Venaria - the provider recommends booking your time slot online in advance, as slots fill up fast on public holidays. Allow several hours for each major museum, and plan to use the card on consecutive days.
Children, cancellation and other notes
An accompanying child under twelve gets the same benefits as you, while teenagers have their own junior version. Opening days and hours vary by venue, and many museums close one day a week - exact times are shown in the booking calendar and on the official websites. If a venue closes for a public holiday or strike, the validity period is not extended. Unused online purchases are partially refundable within a set window - the booking page shows the details.
